Shipping & Export Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for shipping and international export of handwoven Shatranji rugs and other textile products from Innova Max USA, operating as a Business-to-Business (B2B) wholesaler and custom manufacturer. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and transparent process for our global partners.

1. Order Processing & Lead Time

• Order Confirmation: All orders are subject to confirmation of design, quantity, pricing, and payment terms.
• Production Lead Time (for Custom & Bulk Orders):
  • Standard production lead time typically ranges from 4 to 8 weeks from the date of final design approval and receipt of initial payment (as per payment terms).
  • Lead times can vary significantly based on order complexity, quantity, current production schedule, and raw material availability.
  • For specific and large volume orders, an estimated lead time will be provided with your formal quotation.
• Ready Stock Orders: If any items are available as ready stock, they will be processed for shipping within 5-10 business days after full payment confirmation.

2. Shipping Terms & Incoterms

Innova Max USA primarily operates on FOB (Free On Board) Chittagong Port, Bangladesh terms for international shipments.

• FOB Chittagong Port: Under FOB terms, Innova Max USA is responsible for delivering the goods onto the vessel nominated by you (the buyer) at Chittagong Port. All costs and risks associated with the goods transfer to you once they are loaded onto the vessel. This includes export clearance (Bangladesh side).
• Freight Forwarder: You, the buyer, are responsible for appointing and managing your preferred freight forwarder to handle the international shipping from Chittagong Port to your final destination, as well as all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance in the destination country.
• Other Incoterms: For specific large volume orders, other Incoterms (e.g., CIF, DDP) might be negotiable upon request. Please discuss your requirements with our sales team for tailored solutions.

3. Packaging & Documentation

• Packaging: All rugs are professionally packed to ensure their safe transit. Packaging will typically include individual poly-bags, followed by secure bundling/bales or palletization, suitable for international freight. Custom packaging requests may incur additional costs.
• Documentation: We will provide all necessary export documentation from Bangladesh, including:
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB)
  • Certificate of Origin (if required and specified in the order)
  • Other documents as required for Bangladesh export customs clearance.
• Buyer’s Responsibility for Import: You are responsible for ensuring all import regulations, duties, taxes, and customs clearance procedures in the destination country are handled appropriately by your appointed freight forwarder/customs broker.

4. Shipping Costs & Payment

• FOB Costs (Innova Max USA responsibility): Our quoted prices (under FOB terms) include all costs up to loading the goods onto the vessel at Chittagong Port, including local transportation to port, handling, and export customs clearance in Bangladesh.
• Buyer’s Costs: You are responsible for all international freight charges, marine/cargo insurance (highly recommended), import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and local transportation from the destination port to your warehouse.
• Payment for Freight: International freight charges are typically paid directly by you to your chosen freight forwarder.

5. Tracking & Delivery

• Tracking: Once goods are loaded and the Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB) is issued, we will share the details with you, enabling you to track your shipment with your freight forwarder.
• Delivery Time: International transit times vary greatly depending on the destination country, chosen shipping method (sea freight or air freight), and customs processing. We will provide estimated transit times based on information from freight forwarders, but these are estimates only and not guaranteed.

6. Damage or Loss in Transit

• Innova Max USA’s responsibility ends once goods are loaded onto the vessel at Chittagong Port (FOB terms). We are not liable for any damage or loss incurred during international transit.
• We strongly recommend that you arrange adequate cargo insurance for your shipments to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
• Any claims for damage or loss during transit must be filed directly with your freight forwarder and/or insurance provider.
